With the average price of a ticket currently at $8,600, according to StubHub, it’s safe to assume that most fans will be watching Super Bowl LVIII at home. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will face off again on Sunday, February 11, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kickoff starts at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT.There are many reasons to tune in to what promises to be an entertaining game. This is the second time these teams will face off on football’s biggest day. In 2020, the Chiefs bested the 49ers 31-20, which gives the 49ers something to prove and the Chiefs a legacy to defend. This time around, the 49ers are armed with quarterback Brock Purdy. Some critics call him “mediocre” while others praise his ability to make a comeback.Another mystery to solve while eating chips and dip is whether or not Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will make it to the big game. She is performing on her Eras tour in Tokyo with her final show the day before Super Bowl Sunday. If she does attend, one could make a side bet about how many times the cameras cut to her.Super Bowl commercials this year are bigger than ever. Many include giveaways like DoorDash’s spot, which will gift a lucky viewer one of everything featured in a Super Bowl ad. M&M’s are consoling fans of the losing team with the chance to win a Champion two-piece fleece lounge set.Let’s not forget the halftime show by Usher, who is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his 1994 self-titled debut album and promoting his ninth studio album, Coming Home. Before kickoff, Post Malone, Reba McEntire, and Andra Day will perform during the preshow.

Football’s big day will be broadcast by CBS. For the first time ever, a Spanish-language simulcast will air on Univision. Meanwhile, a family-friendly version will be shown on Nickelodeon, complete with characters. If you cut the cable cord, you can catch it on CBS’s sister streamer, Paramount+. Other live-TV streaming options include DirecTV, YouTube TV, and Hulu + Live TV, which all have a free trial option. (Just don’t forget to cancel if you’re not happy with it.)

You can also watch the game for free with an over-the-air antenna . . . if you’re able to get reception.
